Everybody knew it was coming. It was clear when governments spent the next few years squabbling over details instead of taking firm action. It was clear when COP15 ended in failure. It was clear when ecological disaster began to rear its ugly head, laying waste to the forests, the jungles, the oceans. And it was clear from the signs.

         

The Clear Village project was an attempt to turn the tide. It was a dream of a better world. A hope for a cleaner, greener and happier future. A vision that regeneration could come from the Village scale - village by village. Many criticised the project as utopian, but still the Clear crew continued on their quest to uncover the DNA of 21st-century dwelling.

         

When the Ecopocalypse struck, many lost hope once and for all. But others remembered the Clear Village project and its promise of salvation. Could it be true? Could there be a Village somewhere out there showing the way to a bright sustainable future? And could all the strange signs in fact amount to a code- The Clear Code...? People started looking to solve the puzzle and find the place or ways to revive the project and unite around its vision.
